DataValence (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our service.

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate DataValence, including:

• Basic account information from your sign-in provider (such as Google), including your name, email address, and profile image.
• Contacts or selected calendar and event information when you explicitly enable those read-only Google integrations.
• Files and links that you voluntarily upload to the DataValence service.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps to ensure the platform functions securely.

2. How Your Data Is Used

We use your data solely to:

• Authenticate your identity
• Store and retrieve your uploaded files and links
• Improve reliability, performance, and user experience

Your data is never sold, rented, or used for advertising.

3. Data Security

We take security seriously. Your data is protected by:

• Encryption in transit — all communication uses HTTPS/TLS
• Encryption at rest — all stored files and metadata are encrypted
• Access controls — only authenticated users can access their own data

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties except when required by law or when explicitly requested by you (such as through API integrations you enable).

5. Data Retention

Data you upload remains stored until you delete it. You may remove your files or links at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

DataValence uses Google identity services for authentication. If you enable Google Contacts or Google Calendar, the same Google authorization session is used to read the selected data and add it to your private graph. These integrations are read-only and can be disabled independently in Settings.

7. Your Rights

You may request to:

• View your stored data
• Delete your data
• Delete your account entirely
